By accessing or using Ajar (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Ajar is a private talent marketplace that allows employed professionals (“Candidates”) to receive anonymous outreach from vetted recruiters (“Recruiters”). Ajar does not guarantee employment, does not act as an employer of record, and is not a party to any employment agreement between Candidates and third parties.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in your jurisdiction to use the Service. By registering, you represent that this is true.
Candidates create profiles using their Google account and a LinkedIn URL. Your real identity is never shared with Recruiters without your explicit consent. You may pause or delete your profile at any time from your Settings page.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your account with others.
Recruiter access requires manual approval by Ajar. Approved Recruiters agree to use candidate information solely for legitimate professional outreach. Any misuse — including sharing candidate data, unsolicited contact outside the platform, or discriminatory behaviour — may result in immediate termination of access.

All content, design, and software comprising the Service is owned by Ajar or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Ajar does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular outcome (including employment) will result from its use.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ajar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Ajar reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any reason at Ajar's sole discretion, with or without notice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes by email.
